Snowpoint had traveled fairly far from her birthplace and was now fairly tired. She then blinked and thought she saw the wolf that she knew while she was growing up, the leader of the pack that was basically her birthpack. The she-wolf's fur had changed colors strangely since when she was a puppy and she was now gray with white stripes instead of white with a gray back. Snow blinked and barked lightly with a slightly tilted head in disbelief, "...Jadey?..." No... this wolf is far too small to be Jade. But her colors were just like the fallen leaders. She then silently snuck up on the black wolf but the wind giving her away along with her lack of really even trying to sneak up on the other she-wolf. The gray and white she-wolf had been through a lot in her life so far. She almost had a mate, but he had disappeared into thin air basically.
Jade Wolfbane was minding her own business, making plans by herself, everyone she had come to meet around here gone and vanished again like they never had been there in the first place. Jade huffed, sighed, flopped over on the rock where she claimed home. And suddenly she caught the scent of another nearby. One she had not scented ever before, in fact. Turning her head, she found herself staring at a white and gray female. Jade flicked her tail behind her, giving the pale wolf a strange look, wondering why she had snuck up so close to her and such. "Can I help you?" she though asked, in a very polite voice. Sitting up, she gazed down at the other. "Are you lost?" The poor dear.
Kaishi was wandering around. Nothing better to do really. She was young, awkward still. She already had long, lanky, skinny legs. But not being quite fully grown, she felt all out of wack. She'd be fully grown soon enough though, and that's all that mattered to her right now. She came up on this rock, oddly shaped. There were already two wolves there. She'd never met them before. But, being who she was...she was curious to know who they were. It was in her blood. She stayed in the shadows and watched them, getting their behaviors down in her head before she greeted herself. How would she introduce herself? As 'Kaishi, Kai?' Whatever. Chances being that they would just choose what they wanted to call her anyways. She'd just let them go for it.
Snowpoint looked at the black she-wolf and barked, "Oh sorry miss, you just reminded me of my old pack's alpha female. I am sorta lost, I guess. I almost had a mate a few months ago but he vanished into thin air in a sense and then the pack that I was raised in from a very young age disbanded. I am sorta lost if that counts as lost." She then looked back at the she wolf, still stunned by her resemblance to her former pack leader. The gray and white she-wolf then spotted a puppy, not a very young puppy but one that appeared to just be entering that awkward stage of puppyhood. "Why hello there little one. You are a pretty little girl!" Snow's motherly state kicked in a little bit there. She loves pups and still wishes to have some of her own.
Jade Wolfbane flicked her ears back when she was told she reminded the other of her old pack's alpha female. Whaaaat. Was that a sign or what. Keeping the fact she was still planning on starting her own pack a secret for now, Jade frowned at the white wolf's story. Lost from her pack! Abandoned by her mate!? Oh how horrible~ Jade would have been oblivious about the pup until the white female said something about it. Rather, to it. Jade blinked and looked to the pup in question. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you." Feeling a little bad about her ignorance, Jade though put on a smile to mask it, being a good host in her little area here.
Kaishi smiled as the white wolf greeted her. "Hello. Thank you! Your fur is very nice, clean and shiny." She sat down and nodded to the all black wolf. Her eyes were piercing almost. "Hello to you as well. My name is Kaishi, but call me what you feel like." She wasn't quite sure what to say really, but wanted to keep conversation with them. So, there she sat, putting her two cents in every couple of min. She even thought of this as a good idea to groom her paws a little bit. She was inspired by the white wolf to keep her fur as shiny and clean.
Snowpoint looked at the little she-pup and barked, "Thank you, young one." She then looked at the black she-wolf and barked, "Oh I should probably tell you my name. It's Snowpoint, but I just tend to go by Snow. What's your name?" The she-wolf was fairly lonely, she had been traveling by herself for a few months now and she thought of this as a perfect opportunity to meet some new people. "Ever since I lost my old pack I have been looking for a new pack actually. I know one thing that I would be good at would be a pupsitter, that was one of my ranks back in my old pack. I was a pupsitter when there were pups and a hunter when there were not any pups."
Jade Wolfbane heard Kaishi introduce herself. Then Snow. And what's this? Snow was searching for a pack? Jade bit her tongue for a moment or two, thinking quick on her toes. She really should start this pack. Everyone she'd met so far were on their own. All by themselves. Where there was 10 packs running a muck, all the peeps she just happened to actually meet were loners. HOW did this work out? "I'm Jade." she quickly said so she didn't seem spaced out or appear rude. Looking to Snowpoint again, she smiled softly. "You know, I have been thinking myself on starting a new pack, believe it or not. I just need a few more followers..." Leaving it there, she wasn't about to plainly ask the practically stranger to join her not-even-made pack. Only maybe just hint at it... She looked back to the pup and asked her, "And why are you out here all alone, if I can ask, Kaishi?"
Kaishi nodded when the other one mentioned looking for a pack, "me too!" She smiled when she heard Jade say she wanted to start one. "I could scout stuff out for your pack. I'm good at that, and I'm quick too." She really wanted to belong somewhere. She even decided to state this. "I just want to belong with something." With that she listened intently, hoping that this whole pack shindig would really take off and happen. She began to even feel her heart beat a little faster.
Formula's scruffy tail flailed about as the male hopped around, his dirty fur getting soaked as he dove into the river. Bright green eyes dashed about as he looked for something to do, and what he saw next made him drool. A perfect, round, delicious, amazing, rock was sitting on the waters edge and he just had to have it! Making a mad dash for the let out a squeal of excitement, bending over to pick it up, he opened his jaws...sending two more rocks to fall to the ground. "Gottah have it gottah have it...!" he muttered to himself and swiped his long tongue around all three of them and pulled them into his mouth with a gleeful smile. They were not that big, though they did make his cheeks puff out like a chipmunks. After Picking up the third rock of the day he turned to see a massive jagged stone and stared at it, eyes widening as he took a step closer. Formula didn't even notice the other wolves around, his jaw dropped releasing the rocks once more and he made another mad dash, tongue flopping outside of his mouth and he pounced the massive rock. Tongue swiping along it as she then began trying to nawm on the massive thing. What a doofus.
Jade Wolfbane wagged her tail as the young one seemed to be excited about her pack idea. Hell, she was excited too and doing her best not to wiggle right off the rock there. "Oh sure." she answered the kid. "Stick around a little, you can belong here. I even have the perfect name for my pack; Wolfbane." It was something she'd been thinking really long and hard about the past few days. What to name her pack if she ever-- when she made her pack. Wolfbane was the company she worked for, so it only fit. It was like keeping her past even though it didn't want her! HA! Jade opened her mouth to speak more to the pup, but another came bounding in and started to attack her rock. Attack? More like raping it with his tongue. "Excuse me.. sir, what are you doing..?"
