Key for intros: Person / Pack / Place
The story begins with a lone wolf named Jade Wolfbane. Wandering into the scene from a far off place, this 2 year old wolf made a big impression. At first she was shunned, a wolf her size? That’s crazy! Never in a million years would anyone go up to this creature and talk to her, face to face. Alone and hated, Jade refused to let it get to her. Of course she wasn’t much of a shy wolf either. She would walk up to any wolf, it was just up to them whether to run or stay and chat. She met several other lone wolves and the daring actually became friends with her. Jade might have been some huge monster beast, but inside she was as carefree and harmless as a pup. After all, she was friendly to everyone, or at least tried to be.
Sooner than later, after she made friends with a few, it was able to convince others that this beast was actually very good. The numbers grew around this happier than ever she-wolf. It didn’t take long for them to become a full fledged pack. They started off at a small yet larger than most beginners group, calling themselves Pack Wolfbane. Like a true Royal, Jade named her new pack as her last name. A custom her kind had done for years. The pack stuck around in many places, never settling in one place at a time. After a while this traveling became a very non popular subject. Packmates begged Jade to let them began to search for a place to actually call home. No more being nomads, these pups were looking for a place to stay. Jade agreed full hardily and they settled down in a quiet little forest. The place was soon to be called Wolfbane Paradise.
Days, weeks, and months passed where this little pack slowly began to grow and grow as wanders and travelers stumbled across the pack and requested to join. Jade was a poor pack leader back then and gave into almost anyone that walked by. So eager to please everyone and anyone, she forgot how to rule a pack. But after all, she was new at it right? Jade would bend over backwards to see that her packmates and friends got whatever they wanted. Carefree and stupid.
Then one day Jade somehow got separated from her pack, getting herself lost into a world that would completely change her whole outlook on life. Grown used to a world without violence the next few days and weeks would re-open her eyes to the real world. No less than two days after her separation with her pack, Jade stumbled across the meanest wolf pack she had ever met, Archetype. Even more ruthless than the pack she had been born in! Archetype lived in a place called TAWR. A rather large and beautiful place, all Jade did was wanted to have a good look around, but no. They never gave her a chance to defend herself as she had just so happened to stumbled into their territory.
Jade forgot what a real wolf pack was supposed to be like. And here it was shoved at her with a bang all over again. Weak and injured she crawled away. From there she ran into another wolf pack, one that didn’t attack her on sight. She asked to stay on their lands while she healed, and was granted to stay at the den entrance for a little while. She became friends with the Demon Dogs and the two wolf packs became allies.
A few of Jade’s packmates finally showed up as Jade was just about to head out and search for home again. Atasia, Kammie, Kinoku, Hellsound, and a few others were actually looking for her! They were introduced to D.D. who had changed their name after the alphas died to Chevalier. Jade didn’t want to leave her new friends, a pack that she truly loved and helped protect their den. She was happy with the life she lived here, a guest to this wonderful pack. Wolfbane even started to make plans with Chevalier to move the pack in next door and they would be like one large and powerful pack all together. But then one day Archetype struck again, and they just HAD to fuck it all up.
They heard she was in the area and decided to pay her another visit. Apparently they had it out for her and wanted to finish what they started. The few members of Wolfbane were no match against the great many Archetypes. Jade turned to Chevalier, but none of them would do anything. Jade and her pack were defenseless, while their “friends” just sat back and watched. Scared and upset, Jade rounded her fellow packmates and ran. That’s right. They ran.
Her packmates led her back home, where Jade was greeted by the rest of her pack. Numbers had dropped drastically since she had been gone, more lost wolves who would never be found again. For a long time Jade was silent and would not speak to any of her packmates. She was too hurt and angry at what happened. Angry at the Archetypes for targeting her, when she had done absolutely nothing to them. Hurt that the ones she called friends betrayed her when she needed them most. She felt dead inside.
But finally she came back to her senses after her friends finally convinced her things were OK. She gathered the pack around her and told them the plan. They would move to a new location, she no longer felt that this place was home. Regardless of many protests she turned her back on all other wolf packs and moved to a place called Hollowood where Pack Wolfbane was the only wolf pack around for miles. Jade decided for the pack, that this was the best choice. But to her dismay, not all members of the pack were willing to join her. They did not want to leave home, so Jade and the ones willing to go with her, left them. The once large pack became small again.
With her true followers and friends, Jade rebuilt the pack. With mainly just the ones who actually came to get her, Jade and her pack started a plan. She took what she learned from Chevalier and taught her pack how to truly run a pack. Off in their own little space, the pack practiced their new pack skills and Jade was just so happy that Wolfbane could really pull it off. Soon Pack Wolfbane got the hang of how to truly run as a pack, not just a bunch of friends. And with Jade at the head of the pack, they seemed almost invincible, to themselves anyway.
They were not trying to be invisible from the rest of the world, in fact after Jade taught her pack the ways of the wild, they actually did start seeing more wolves pop up from time to time. Intruders or future packmates, one by one they would show up, and either leave or stay. And Pack Wolfbane treated everyone the way a pack truly should. They defended their den and played their roles in the pack. Finally Wolfbane was a true wolf pack. Members went up more and more till Wolfbane was yet again, another large pack.
They lived in Hollowood for a while, till the pack grew restless at the lack of action the area was giving them. Sure there was some people showing up, but sooner or later the place seemed to die. The pack waited and waited, now with new and even better pack members than before. Getting tired of the same old scenery and lack of action, Pack Wolfbane moved again, this time to a place only the daring would live at. They moved to a winter wonderland, as cold as you can get. The place was called Ice Mountain.
Now, they knew that it would be harder for others to get to this point. Of course they knew they were not going to stay there long. Wolfbane just wanted to test themselves against the great element of ice. Thus proving that they had the guts to do such a thing. Regardless of the idea they knew no one would make it this far on their own, there was indeed others that did show up. Lost travelers, daring adventures, you name it, they showed up. Each and every time Pack Wolfbane put those outsiders in their place.
While living in their winter wonderland, Wolfbane’s bond grew stronger than ever. As did another bond. Salari, from Chevalier came all the way out to speak to Jade. Of course at first Jade wanted to beat her to the ground, but she listened to the apology given and forgave Chev for their actions way back long ago. Wolfbane and Chev became allies again, while Jade gained her close friend back and the weight of the betrayal between the two packs was lifted.
Numbers grew again, but not long afterwards they quickly descended. Pack numbers decreased rapidly shortly few weeks after the last move. Apparently moving to this desolate location was a very bad idea indeed. More than half the pack couldn’t handle it, and they all disappeared. Having no ideas what happened to them, whether they ran or died. Only a few members were left now; Atasia, Clawspawn, Kammie, Kinoku, Fyia Yun, Calliou, Hellsound, Artic Sun, and Ukranie. Jade began to believe Pack Wolfbane was dying.
The alphess couldn’t bear such a thing and she made plans to move yet again. She sent out about half her remaining pack, along with herself to go and find a new home. This time she was looking for a popular place. One where the pack can thrive again, becoming a true pack once more. It’s just the searching that proves difficult.
Wolfbane stumbled across a place called Wolf Cove. Shaithis, another good friend Jade made from the Chevalier pack, lived there with his own pack (Dreaded Alliance) and it really did seem like a nice place to live. So, Jade asked her packmates what they thought and they all agreed that Wolf Cove would be the ideal living area. But sadly, there were no dens around that were not taken. So what did Wolfbane do? They stole a den! Yup, found a den that was currently inhabited by a lone wolf and marked it theirs.
They stayed in that den for the longest time. Jade and Claw became mates. A beautiful family was born into Wolfbane, Jade birthing 3 pups, Rafelie, Tiak, and Kenyu.

And then one day, Wolfbane was hit with the greatest downfall. Jade Wolfbane died. Slipping away to pass on, Wolfbane was then put into sorrow. Rafelie, Jade's favored child, became alphess. Afterwards, she chose her teacher, Taija, to become her mate. Soon finding that Taija cheated on her with her own sister Nalidia, Rafe chases them both off and the pack was left darker than ever.
And then Wolfbane was moved once more, to a place called Sunglaze.
