She was gone from their lives. A shadow in the past of the pack. A mere memory... and yet...
...in another place, she lived on. In a word of endless twilight, where the stars danced in the grass as well as the sky, she ran free, newfound wings spread, black mane on her head flowing behind her. She was changed.
However, even in the place the raven goddess had given her, she was unhappy... so one night, whilst the silver wolf ran alone, the great goddess herself appeared in the grass ahead. Rusty stopped.
"Why are you grieving my child? Is this not Paradise?"
The goddess's voice rang like bells and chimes. Her beak never moved as she stood there, six legs steady. Tail twirled around behind her... she was beautiful and eerie at the same time.
"I guess... I miss my family."
Wolf sighed and sat down. The world was perfect but...
"You never did get to tell him, did you...?"
"...no."
The goddess seemed to think about this for a moment, then she'd move toward Rustic.
"Then you shall get the chance. I shall grant you this chance, to tell him. And then, when you are ready, come back to this place... okay, child?"
Young wolf was instantly pleased with the idea. Tail was waving in the air as she looked up to her, imagining what she'd do as soon as she woke with them again. No thoughts of breaking from her tomb came. No worries to if they'd moved on, or how long it had been. No idea if he had found another. And yet...
"I will be ready again, m'lady!"
"Then dream well, my child. And safe journey..."
